uPVC door won’t lock when I lift the handle
Usually a worn gearbox or a door that has dropped on its hinges.
→Key snapped in the lock
Don’t push the broken half deeper. Extraction is often possible without replacing the lock.
→Door won’t open from the inside
Failed thumb-turn or latch. Common on night latches and euro cylinders.
→Key turns but the door stays locked
Broken cam or cylinder. A replacement cylinder usually solves it.

Inside the M25 the average is around 25 minutes. We give you a real arrival time on the phone, and we’ll say so if we can’t get to you quickly.
Will you damage my door?
We try non-destructive entry first. If a high-security lock needs drilling, we explain why and give you the replacement price before touching it.
Will new locks keep my home insurance valid?
Yes. We fit BS3621 mortice locks and TS007 3-star anti-snap cylinders, the standards most UK insurers ask for on external doors.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
The price we agree on the phone includes the call-out. There is no separate fee added at the door.
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer once the job is finished. You get an emailed invoice.
